Cleaning Buddy
Cleaning Buddy launched in September of 2018 as a sister company to Lawn Buddy. As a marketing representative, I have worked closely with the owner and the digital marketing agent to boost marketing behaviors, designing advertisements, flyers, and social media graphics. I coordinate the distribution of flyers to local apartment complexes and businesses to spread the word about this new platform.

The Coffee House
The Coffee House is a single location drive-thru coffee shop in Derby, KS. I have been a barista since I was 16 years old. Aside from growing at providing excellent customer service and improving my communication skills, I also create branded graphics, window signs, and internal guides for the shop.

Gordon Parks Academy
For my Consumer Behavior course, my classmates and I each designed a new brochure for Gordon Parks Academy in preparation for the Choices Fair 2017. After receiving all submissions they combined aspects from many of the submissions while sticking to a design very similar to mine.

The Coffee House
The Coffee House is a single location drive-thru coffee shop in Derby, KS. I have been a barista since I was 16 years old. Aside from providing excellent customer service I also boost the Coffee House's marketing efforts. I create branded graphics, window signs, and internal guides for the shop. I also snap visually appealing images to share on social media. I established our "Good joe on the go" slogan and created a Wix webpage for the shop. Facebook posts that I have create have reached 500-900 users with 35-60 interactions organically while average posts reach approximately 300 users with 3 interactions.

Just Tri
Just Tri is non-profit triathlon aimed at encouraging our youth to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Just Tri originated in Derby, KS and the first triathlon was held in June of 2016. I have volunteered each year and starting in 2017 I assisted in marketing efforts. I created the website, assisted in Facebook page management, designed materials, and developed a targeted Facebook ad campaign reaching up to 4,822 users and posts that reached up to 775 users.

Cleaning Buddy
Cleaning Buddy launched in September of 2018 as a sister company to Lawn Buddy. As a marketing coordinator, I work closely with the owner and the digital marketing agent to boost marketing efforts. I design advertisements, flyers, and social media graphics. I distribute flyers to local apartment complexes and businesses to spread the word about this new mobile platform and the services we offer.

Salvation Army
My team and I created a survey receiving 492 responses on Google Forms distributed via social media. We manipulated the data in Microsoft Excel into visual charts. We wrote a report using the data to strategize and help make some key decisions. We then presented our findings to several members of the board and executive team for the organization.

HVAC Industry
Using online resources and cold calls of competitors my colleagues and I developed a list of possible new products for this firm to produce given their current capabilities. We also researched possible new industries that they could market their current products to. We presented an overall strategy to grow their sales, and learned how to perform research on highly technical industries.

Jet Tour Industry
I worked with a colleague to research the growing market for Private Jet tours, searching for opportunities for our employer to enter the market by forming a partnership. I interviewed the marketing manager of the Private Jet tour company and conducted secondary research on the industry. We presented our findings to the Director of Marketing of the company and I connected him with the marketing manager that I had previously interviewed.
MARKET RESEARCH
COMMUNICATIONS
Textron Aviation | Lead Generation
I utilized databases such as Hoovers and Data.com to track down companies that do not currently own private jets and developed targeted mail campaigns to communicate the value of private aviation to companies of their size to C level decision makers. The mail campaign included a letter I personally wrote for recipients, and informative and persuasive articles about the benefits private aviation. I also monitored current leads through Salesforce and inputted leads into the system.
Pinole Blue | Expo Exhibitor
Pinole Blue is a local startup that brings the Mexican tradition of pinole to the USA. I manage the booth for Pinole Blue at Green Acres' various events. I discuss the benefits of pinole with patrons and encourage them to try a free sample. I understand the health conscious market and their needs and communicate the value of our products.
Dean's Ambassadors | Public Relations
The mission of the Barton School Dean's Ambassadors is to actively advancesthe reputation and image of the Barton School of Business, meet the diverse needs of the students of the Barton School, and engage business students in the many facets of the Barton School of Business.
As public relations officer I forged connections that brought value to the ambassadors and all business students. I created a new alumni group to connect past ambassadors with current ambassadors for professional growth opportunities and networking. I organized an Excel spreadsheet of all past members, created a LinkedIn group, and sent out a graphic newsletter via MailChimp. I attended expos and fairs to network and build connections with local companies to bring opportunities to the ambassadors such as company tours and job offerings. I also played a key role in planning the annual Back to Business Bash which is a business school centered involvement fair. I coordinated our needs with our sponsor and sought out donations from local businesses.
